Paltalk is similar to other messenging services such as AIM or Yahoo Messenger. Paltalk Messenger allows people from around the world to chat. The coolest thing about this software and what makes it different to other available messaging programs is its video & voice capabilities

SuperIM is Paltalks' trademarked text messenging service. If the subscriber uses a webcam he/she can make it available in chatrooms so chat participants can view who they are chatting with.

While in SuperIm mode, if a member clicks the add audio button, he/she can communicate to other members as if talking on the telephone.

Subsribers can browse the room list for a subjectof interest, then clicking the room to enter Chat in the chatrooms is enabled by clicking the Push to Talk button or by typing text

The subscriber responsible for making the room has administrative rights, this means they can close, and ban users from the chatroomfor periods of time, ban subscribers indefinetly, and control the microphone. The owner of the room can give admin status to other subscibers to help share the work.
